L’antica meridiana orizzontale – il sole e lo spazio

Short presentation of the event: VISITA ALLA MERIDIANA – CON LA SPIEGAZIONE DI COME LEGGERLA (sole..)

This ancient sundial is carved on the living rock; the sundial was discovered a few years ago under a 
meter of debris and asphalt. The gnomon hit by the sun's rays marks the hours, after decades of oblivion. 
The day ended and began at sunset. 
The intent of the event is to give children great knowledge of the riches linked to "geography", 
to the Signs of Mother Earth and its relationship with the Sun and the Universe.
THE ANCIENT HORIZONTAL MERIDIANA of via Meato has a special relationship with the SUN and the SEASONS.

Questo antico orologio solare è scolpito sulla viva roccia; la meridiana è stata scoperta pochi anni fa sotto una metro di detriti e asfalto. Lo gnomone colpito dai raggi solari, segna le ore, dopo decenni di oblio. Il giorno terminava ed iniziava al tramonto.

L’intento della manifestazione è quello di far conoscere ai ragazzi le ricchezze legate alla “geografia”, ai Segni di madre Terra e il suo rapporto con il Sole e l’Universo.

L’ANTICA MERIDIANA ORIZZONTALE di via Meato  ha un rapporto speciale con il SOLE e le STAGIONI.
