U projektu učenici istražuju prisutnost mikroplastike u uzorcima pijeska i mora koji su prikupljeni s gradske plaže. Cilj istraživanja je analizirati prisutnost mikroplastike u uzorcima pomoću digitalnog mikroskopa. Učenici će mikroskopirati uzorke mora i pijeska te će crtežom prikazati čestice vidljive mikroskopom. Rad učenika u ovoj aktivnosti potaknut će razvoj svijesti o ekološkom problemu mikroplastike u morima i oceanima.
Microplastics – a global problem with local consequences
In the project, students are investigating the presence of microplastics in sand and sea samples collected from a city beach. The aim of the research is to analyze the presence of microplastics in the samples using a digital microscope. Students will examine the sea and sand samples under a microscope and draw a picture of the particles visible under the microscope. Students’ work in this activity will encourage awareness of the environmental problem of microplastics in the seas and oceans.
