The Department of Geography of the University of Santiago de Compostela has an important collection of traditional maps, in canvas format. Last year Geonight’s activity consisted of visiting the map library and explaining some of these maps. This year the continuation of it is planned. In addition, it is proposed to show some maps in digital format that have notable characteristics and may awaken interest in Cartography among attendees.

The aim is to know the main cartographic resources that the Department of Geography has and to awaken interest in Cartography.
