How to catch microplastics?

Description:

Students attending the GLOBE extracurricular activity will show and teach other students at school and the interested public through workshops how to identify microplastics, what are the sources of microplastics, how can we reduce the amount of plastic that comes into the environment, how clean our Sava River is. It will connect knowledge from geography about waters (rivers), how rivers are polluted and what steps we as individuals can take to stop environmental pollution.

Main objectives:

Students and visitors will learn how to identify and determine the origin of microplastics and will learn how to reduce the use of plastics in everyday life.
