The event will take the form of a GeoCamp, bringing together scientists, students, and everyone interested in natural geographical research. The event topic will be devoted to terrestrial and extraterrestrial landscapes of the past and present, as well as landscapes transformed by military operations in Ukraine. This informal gathering will allow friends and colleagues to meet once again around an improvised online campfire, recall the past, and discuss plans for the future. Interactive activities and quizzes about geography’s history and current state will help create a relaxed atmosphere.
Main objectives:
– exchange of ideas and experience in geographical research;
– popularization of geographical science and education;
– expansion of professional networks and connections;
– promotion of the development of new research projects.
