Marjan Kralj, is the most important collector of materials in Slovenia about the ship Rex, one of the most modern ships in the world, sunk near the Izola shipyard. He presented the results of his research at the gallery – museum, the website about the Rex, as well as with a model and pictures. At this meeting, he will use PowerPoint projections to introduce us to lesser-known facts, such as why this was the only ship to have a blue ribbon over 29 m long. This will be followed by a walk through the village with views from Piran to Trieste, with an emphasis on places associated with this ship
