The event is structured as a World Café, where participants rotate among four different roundtables featuring international speakers, including academics and activists. These discussions will address various topics related to climate change, fostering a deeper understanding and critical reflection on the importance of analyzing this challenge through an intersectional lens.
Main objectives:
Participants will actively engage in roundtable discussions with international speakers on key topics, including the Amazon Biome and the necessity of leaving fossil fuels underground, the importance of applying a feminist approach to climate action, and the role of climate finance in achieving a truly just and equitable phase-out. The World Café is designed to disseminate and explore climate change issues through a learning-by-doing approach. By directly involving participants in these discussions, the event aims to deepen their understanding of the diverse challenges addressed in the sessions.
