Description:

One of the biggest challenges our school faces is the lack of space. Through this project, we aim to create a vision of our future school by developing a 3D model of the building and designing a digital version in Minecraft and Roblox. This innovative approach will allow for a clear visualization of our future school.

This issue is also being addressed by the local government, and land for a new school building has already been designated in the spatial plan of the city of Omiš. The goal of the project is to design a sustainable, green, and technologically advanced school, with a strong focus on the use of renewable energy sources and urban greening.

To further improve the project, we will conduct a survey to gather insights from the residents of Omiš on their vision of the school of the future—what it should look like and what features it should include.

The project will be promoted on multiple levels—from the local community to collaboration with the Center of Excellence of the Split-Dalmatia County and on an international level through participation in the ENTER Conference and GeoNight.

Main objectives:

Visualizing the Future School – Creating a 3D model and digital versions in Minecraft and Roblox to show how our future school could look.
Promoting Sustainability – Highlighting the importance of renewable energy, green spaces, and eco-friendly school design.
Involving the Community – Gathering opinions from local residents and students on what the school of the future should include.
Using Technology in Education – Demonstrating how digital tools can help in planning and designing schools in an interactive way.
