Evening tour to Geri Hill, the highest point of Nyíregyháza. (5 km)

Description:

The tour visits the well-known high point of Nyíregyháza, Geri Hill, formerly known as Őr Hill. In addition to the sandy, hilly surface of Nyírség, we can also see the city, the farmsteads, the Nyugati industrial park and, in the distance, towards Tokaj. We can learn about geomorphology and settlement morphology.

Objectives:

Getting to know the geomorphology and settlement morphology of the city.
