• Nella Scuola le ore di studio dedicate alla disciplina geografica sono diminuite nel corso degli anni e nuovi orientamenti didattici come Situated learning e Service learning sono subentrati. Con queste nuove metodologie didattiche è possibile recuperare ore di studio e tematiche dedicate alla Geografia, smarrite nel corso del tempo. In particolare, cercheremo di soffermarci sui temi dedicati alla Pace. In Italia è, inoltre, cresciuta la domanda di strumenti per la formazione e l’aggiornamento didattico degli insegnanti, talché questo volume si configura come un piccolo contributo in tal senso.

Presentation of the book: SPINELLI G., Geography and Situated learning in Schools and Universities, WIP Edizioni, Bari, 2021. In the School, the hours of study dedicated to the geographical discipline have decreased over the years and new teaching orientations such as Situated learning and Service learning have taken over. With these new teaching methods, it is possible to recover hours and themes dedicated to Geography, lost over time. In particular: Geography for Peace. However, it would mean being satisfied and giving up having one’s own disciplinary identity as it did in the past. In Italy, the demand for tools for the training and didactic updating of teachers has also grown, so that this volume is a small contribution in this sense.

Objectives: Diffondere la cultura geografica e nuove tecniche di apprendimento-insegnamento della disciplina.
