Short presentation of the event: Geography as a science is less and less represented in different scales of society or in many cases the organizations, the state and society in general are not able to place it in the important place that corresponds to it, among many elements due to the political, social and economic situation in Venezuela that has decimated the number of students for various reasons accentuated by the budget deficit of the universities. Despite these situations, geography is still being done in Venezuela and there are many professors, students and professionals who are highlighting the geographic work, geography and geographers in Venezuela: Viva la Geografía!
